Humanity has reached to a point now where there is not respect for human life. It makes it more bad to know that its human who no longer care or value a human life. "Birth is accidental but Death is destiny" Thats what my english teacher used to say. But losing life due to some one else's atrocity, is that destiny???
Where have we gone wrong, whats that making us not at all care for others life. If you have forgotten whats the value of human life; ask that mother whose child was shot for no reason, ask that sister whose brother was burnt in the bomb blast, ask that father whose 12 year old daughter was raped and then chopped into pieces. Is it so difficult to understand value of human life? In all the cases who are the killer, they are all grown and mature people having enough brain to understand the value of life. Can we blame education, can we point fingers on parenting, can we say its religion or is it the society and our culture. No none of these...

the VT incident was indeed very sad.... like you said, so many Qs remain unanswered. And come to think of it, I feel it might be right to some extent to ban hollywood from showing crime in movies.. what say?
